Terms of Service

Last updated July 30, 2026

Perch is provided by an independent developer, as-is, for personal use. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

The service

Perch lets you connect financial accounts (via Plaid) to view aggregated balances, transactions, recurring payments, and income estimates, and to set budgets and savings goals. Perch is a read-only viewer over your financial data — it cannot move money, initiate payments, or make changes at your bank.

Not financial advice

Nothing in Perch constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Figures like income estimates and recurring-payment detection are automated approximations and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Verify anything important directly with your bank or a qualified professional before acting on it.

Your responsibilities

  • Keep your password confidential and use a unique, strong password.
  • Only connect accounts you're authorized to access.
  • You're responsible for all activity under your account.

Availability and changes

Perch is offered on a best-effort basis with no uptime guarantee. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or violate these terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that displayed financial data will always be accurate or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Perch and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions made based on data displayed in the app.

Your data

See the Privacy Policy for details on what we collect and how you can delete it.
